Croatia has had some big-time success at the last couple of World Cups<\/a>, but their final match of the group stage is a big one as they try to battle their way into the next round of the tournament.<\/p>\n

The easiest way to do that will be beating Ghana on Saturday in Philadelphia<\/a>, and while that’s not going to be an easy task, there’s no question that there will be plenty of support for them.<\/p>\n

The day before the match, red-and-white-checked fans practically took over part of Philadelphia, and that included one couple’s wedding photo shoot.<\/p>\n

Maybe it’s different in Croatia, but you usually can’t mess with a bride’s photo sesh and come away unscathed.<\/p>\n

Philadelphia Sports Network writer Jimmy King found a massive crowd outside Philadelphia City Hall living it up, as World Cup fans<\/a> are wont to do. But amid the festivities, a newlywed couple, their wedding party and their photographer got caught in the fray.<\/p>\n

The wedding party seemed to be into it, which is great, because imagine if they had stumbled across a bona fide bridezilla?<\/p>\n

I don’t think I want to imagine it. It would be ugly.<\/p>\n

THE USA IS A FIFA WORLD CUP HIT AS VISITORS FROM AROUND THE GLOBE ARE IN LOVE WITH AMERICANA<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

She spent her whole life dreaming of those photos, and I would feel comfortable betting that she did not picture throngs of Croatian soccer fans<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But, maybe she did; who knows?<\/p>\n

Good on them for having fun, because that’s a moment everyone there will remember for the rest of their lives, which is more than most people can say about wedding photos.<\/p>\n

Normally, they’re just the one thing standing between you and the cocktail<\/a> party.<\/p>\n

I’ve got to say, I’m impressed by how many of these nations travel really well.<\/a><\/p>\n

Croatia has a population under 4 million, and they’re filling stadiums, taking over cities<\/a> and ruining wedding photos across the Atlantic Ocean.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
