Jennifer Grey<\/a> went topless in a throwback photo celebrating her close friend Tracy Pollan’s 66th birthday.<\/p>\n

The “Dirty Dancing” star took to Instagram<\/a> to share a blurry photo of the two posing topless at the beach, writing, “Happy birthday @tracy.pollan [heart emoji] Friendship like this is [star emoji] ‘if you fall I will catch you, I\u2019ll be waiting\u2026 time after time!'”<\/p>\n

The photo featured the two friends with their arms around each other, wearing nothing but bikini bottoms. Their toned abs were clear in the photo, and their chests were covered by cleverly placed star emojis.<\/p>\n

Pollan got a kick out of the post, writing in the comments section, “Hahahaha I love you!!”<\/p>\n

Fans of the two also loved the post, with one writing, “What 1980s exercises were you ladies doing to get abs like that? happy friendship day to you both.”<\/p>\n

“Good GRIEF!!! Respectfully,” another wrote.<\/p>\n

“Shredded,” another fan added, while a third chimed in with, “Lucky to have that kinda friendship! Happy Birthday!”<\/p>\n

Grey and Pollan, who is married to “Back to the Future” star Michael J. Fox<\/a>, first met in the 1970s when they were both students at the private Dalton School in Manhattan. The two have remained close ever since.<\/p>\n

The ladies recently proved they still look great in bikinis when they shared photos from their recent girls’ trip to the beach. Grey shared photos of the two of them enjoying time together, captioning the post, “Long overdue girls trip @tracy.pollan giggled like we were back in high school.”<\/p>\n

“I\u2019ve always been a girl\u2019s girl. I call my girlfriends my framily,” Grey previously told AARP<\/a>. “They\u2019re the people I trust most. I\u2019ve had the same friends forever. Sometimes you know who you are based on the people who know you so well. My best friend is Tracy Pollan. My other best friend is Maggie Wheeler.”<\/p>\n

Grey made her movie debut in 1984 and had her big break just two years later when she starred as Jeanie Bueller, the frustrated older sister in “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,”<\/a> who spends much of the movie trying to prove her younger brother is faking being sick in order to have a day off.<\/p>\n

Her career-defining role as Frances “Baby” Houseman in “Dirty Dancing” came in 1987. She starred opposite Patrick Swayze as an upper-middle-class teenager who falls for her dance instructor while on vacation with her family in the Catskills.<\/p>\n

When speaking about the success of the movie to AARP, Grey noted, “Nobody ever sets out to say or do things that become iconic.”<\/p>\n

“When we made the movie, it was a less complicated time,” she said. “Everybody saw the movie at the same time<\/a>. There wasn\u2019t the opportunity to watch everything at every time, so we all had to focus. We came together in theaters, and we shared that experience. There was a zeitgeist of people coming together to watch.”<\/p>\n

She continued: “It became something we all shared. And even now when talking about that movie, we\u2019re really talking about that moment and what it meant for all of us. We all want to believe a change is possible and that it can explode into a better iteration of our lives.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
