NFL<\/a> defenses could be in the presence of the son of a “genetic freak” this season.<\/p>\n

Brock Rechsteiner, the son of WWE<\/a> Hall of Famer Scott Steiner, joined the New Orleans Saints in the offseason after initially signing with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent in April.<\/p>\n

The Saints posted photos of Rechsteiner wearing his father\u2019s wrestling headgear and holding the World Heavyweight Championship.<\/p>\n

“Big Gold always looks good on a Genetic Freak,” Steiner wrote on X on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

“A genetic freak,” he added on Monday.<\/p>\n

The former Jacksonville State standout had 53 catches for 629 yards and seven touchdowns from 2023 to 2025. In his final year with the Gamecocks, he had 36 catches for 383 yards and five touchdowns.<\/p>\n

Rechsteiner, and his brother Brandon, previously signed NIL deals with WWE last year. Brandon Rechsteiner was a guard for the Colorado State Rams<\/a> men\u2019s basketball team. He averaged 12 points per game with the Rams during the 2025-26 season and announced he was transferring to Kansas State.<\/p>\n

The Rechsteiner (Steiner) legacy runs deep in WWE.<\/p>\n

Scott Steiner, and his brother Rick, were tag team champions in pro wrestling<\/a>. The two earned WWE Hall of Fame nods in 2022. Rick Steiner\u2019s son, Bronson Rechsteiner, is a major WWE star known as Bron Breakker.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear if the Rechsteiner brothers will attempt to make it in pro wrestling.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
