Nikki Bella has been out of action with\u00a0a non-breast-implant related injury<\/u><\/a> since March. She\u2019s working hard to make her way back into the ring after suffering a severe ankle injury in a match against Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair.<\/p>\n

The injury kept her from setting foot into the ring to compete at WrestleMania 42 in April. However, the 42-year-old WWE Hall of Famer is hopeful she\u2019ll be back in action soon.<\/p>\n

“As of now, I get my X-rays done mid-June. So X-rays, MRIs, to see how the growth is \u2013 did my bones fully grow back? All the things. But today I was really pumped because I got to squat for the first time,” Nikki told Fox News Digital<\/a> last month.<\/p>\n

“So, I\u2019ve been working with my trainer and my PT, and last week I got to move up to a level where we now get to focus on strengthening. So, I will say, it\u2019s so much work. My broken neck was way easier than this and, like, how is that possible?”<\/p>\n

Over the weekend, she checked in with a recovery update of sorts from a spa. How\u2019s the ankle doing? Is she on track to make a return soon? Those are good questions. They didn\u2019t come up. Turning the spa visit into an annual trip did.<\/p>\n

“A very much needed getaway to We Care Spa,” Nikki wrote on\u00a0her Instagram Story<\/u><\/a>. “Love doing these detoxes every so many years. Need to make it a yearly thing.”<\/p>\n

No news on the ankle has to be good news as far as I\u2019m concerned, especially when\u00a0an admitted lover of thirst traps<\/u><\/a> includes a bikini selfie. It\u2019s a step in the right direction.<\/p>\n

Whether the ankle is ready or not, Nikki Bella appears to be.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
