FOX FIRST:<\/strong> The U.S. Department of Homeland Security<\/a> (DHS) announced the arrests of numerous illegal immigrants\u00a0in New Jersey\u00a0last week,\u00a0including\u00a0those previously convicted of manslaughter, sex crimes and weapons charges.<\/p>\n

The U.S. Immigration<\/a> and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrests come amid violent protests outside the Delaney Hall\u00a0ICE\u00a0detention center in Newark, New Jersey, over illegal migrants’ living conditions in the facility.<\/p>\n

“While sanctuary politicians and leftist agitators spread false smears about\u00a0the Delaney Hall\u00a0ICE\u00a0facility, the brave men and women of ICE are still hard at work\u00a0removing criminal illegal aliens from New Jersey<\/a>,” DHS acting assistant secretary Lauren Bis told Fox News Digital. “In New Jersey, they have removed dangerous criminal illegal aliens with criminal histories that include\u00a0voluntary manslaughter, sex assault,\u00a0burglary,\u00a0fraud, terroristic threats\u00a0and aggravated assault.”<\/p>\n

“These sanctuary politicians need to\u00a0stop\u00a0peddling false smears about ICE detention<\/a> facilities and start thanking ICE law enforcement officers for getting\u00a0these thugs off New Jersey streets,” Bis continued. “We will not let violent rioters slow us down from making America safe again.”\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Some of the “worst of the worst<\/a>” arrested in New Jersey\u00a0last week, according to DHS,\u00a0include:\u00a0<\/p>\n

Marcos Delacruz, an illegal immigrant\u00a0from El Salvador,\u00a0was arrested by ICE on Friday.<\/p>\n

His\u00a0criminal history includes convictions for\u00a0sex assault\u00a0and\u00a0fraud, as well as an arrest for\u00a0assault.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Success\u00a0Bounte, an illegal immigrant from\u00a0Ghana,\u00a0was arrested by ICE on Thursday.<\/p>\n

His\u00a0criminal history includes\u00a0convictions for\u00a0robbery, burglary,\u00a0identity theft<\/a> and fraud \u2014 illegal use of credit cards.<\/p>\n

Ismael Antonio Moreno-Javier, an illegal immigrant from\u00a0the Dominican Republic<\/a>,\u00a0was arrested by ICE on Thursday.<\/p>\n

He has previously been arrested for\u00a0charges including terroristic threats, assault, child\u00a0neglect and\u00a0fraud.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Carlos Javier Llano-Batista, an illegal immigrant from the Dominican Republic,\u00a0was arrested by ICE on Thursday.<\/p>\n

He has previously been arrested for\u00a0charges including\u00a0fraud, larceny, burglary and robbery.<\/p>\n

His\u00a0criminal history includes convictions for\u00a0simple assault, obstructing\u00a0police\u00a0and\u00a0public order crimes, as well as arrests for\u00a0simple assault, possession of weapon\u00a0and\u00a0contempt of court.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Jacinta Contreras Reyes, an illegal immigrant from\u00a0Mexico,\u00a0was arrested by ICE on Friday.<\/p>\n
