But the biggest numbers will be sold by Mark Zuckerberg, he will be selling 41.35 million shares. The company plans to use the proceeds for acquisitions, complimentary technologies or other assets apart from working capital needs. Andreessen\u2019s sale amounts to 35% of his 4.6 million stake in Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB). The CEO is planning to use the proceeds to pay taxes he will incur in connection with his exercise of an option to purchase 60 million shares.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0This is not the first time Mark has reduced his stake in the company. He had gifted 18 million shares to charity. The donation along with the current sale for tax purposes amount to 11% of his holdings. This sale will also total 20% of his holdings that Mark has sold or donated after the company\u2019s IPO. The company along with NASDAQ is facing a class suit action over the handling of the company\u2019s IPO. A technical glitch had lead to several issues and the shares had crashed on the day of listing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Facebook Inc\u2019s debut today on S&amp;P 500:<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB)\u2019s shares will also be included in S&amp;P 500 from today. This will ensure a good upside to the stock as several funds focusing on S&amp;P 500 will have to include the company in their portfolio. The stock was down by almost 1% in yesterday\u2019s trading.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Facebook is also set to launch video advertisement from this week. The company has launched several innovative advertising products and also made a very smooth transition from a predominant desktop application to mobiles. This mirrored a shift in usage by consumers to smartphones and mobiles as a means of accessing the internet.
