The market values the company at $155.83 billion and it has about 4.65 billion in outstanding shares.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company is expected to release its Q2.14 data on Dec. 18 followed by a conference call to be addressed by its CEO Larry Ellison and other executives. The conference call as usual will offer investors and analysts opportunity to scrutinize the company.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There are a lot of expectations in the air as\u00a0Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL) reports its second quarter. The investors and analysts will be looking to see how far the company has gone with its new product and service additions as well as acquisitions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Over the past six quarters, the company has beaten Wall Street estimates both in EPS line and revenue. In the period, it has topped Wall Street EPS consensus estimates four times and topped revenue figures three times.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It remains to be seen whether the company will continue its beating when it reports Q2.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As ORCL continues to beat Wall Street estimates, views on the stock have been upped and now Wall Street is expecting the company to post 67 cents per share on $9.17 billion in revenue. Previously Wall Street had 56 cents EPS target on the stock on $8.47 billion revenue.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the last quarter\u00a0Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL) posted a drop in earnings compared to the corresponding quarter last year. However, this fall seemed to have been caused by industry problems because even its competitors took similar hit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company\u2019s ambitious investment in cloud solutions and acquisitions are expected to play a key role in its earnings.\u00a0Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL) is expected to show whether its acquisition of Eloqua and launch of 12 c database are having any impact in its operations and how great they can help the company continue its forward growth.
