Christina Applegate returned to social media Monday with gratitude for her loved ones.<\/p>\n

Applegate, 54, spoke out on Instagram<\/a> after dodging speculation she was hospitalized. The “Married\u2026 With Children” actress was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2021.<\/p>\n

“Thank you for the outpouring of love and well wishes,” Applegate shared online. “Health issues<\/a> are a constant for me, but I\u2019m a strong chick and I\u2019m getting stronger and better every day.”<\/p>\n

She added, “I\u2019m taking a moment to focus on my health, but I\u2019ll be back with more to say soon enough.”<\/p>\n

Applegate revealed on her “MeSsy<\/a>” podcast last year that she’s been hospitalized upwards of 30 times due to her MS symptoms.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“For three years, since I was diagnosed, I\u2019ve been in the hospital upwards of 30 times from throwing up and diarrhea and pain,” she said. “That is unimaginable, OK? They\u2019ve done every test known to man on me, put so much radiation into my body from CT scans to everything else.”<\/p>\n

“One of the things with MS<\/u><\/a> is that it slows down our organs, you know, not like completely, but there is a slowing of the function of your organs. I have noticed that \u2014 and I\u2019m going to be really honest \u2014 if I have to poop, I puke.”<\/p>\n

“My neuro doesn\u2019t \u2014 God bless her \u2014 says that\u2019s not an MS thing,” Applegate added. “So, I\u2019m sorry, there\u2019s got to be a correlation here, and I\u2019m not a doctor. I\u2019m not giving medical advice. I\u2019m just saying, just think about that, OK? Because I\u2019m in the middle of the same exact situation, and it f—— sucks, and it\u2019s scary.”<\/p>\n

The “Dead to Me” actress \u2014 who recently became a best-selling author with her memoir, “You With the Sad Eyes” \u2014 recently admitted that her diagnosis often impacted her ability to parent her 15-year-old daughter<\/a> Sadie.<\/p>\n

“I want to take her [to school and activities]; it\u2019s my favorite thing to do,” Applegate told People magazine<\/u><\/a>. “It\u2019s the only time we have together by ourselves. I tell myself, \u2018Just get her there safely and get home so you can get back into bed.\u2019 And that\u2019s what I do.”<\/p>\n

Because of limitations, Applegate<\/a> said she feels more free to be unapologetically herself.<\/p>\n

“My life isn\u2019t wrapped up with a bow,” she said. “People\u2019s lives, sorry for lack of a better term, f—ing suck sometimes. So I\u2019m being as honest and raw as I possibly can.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
