Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene wrote on X that all she heard from President Donald Trump’s<\/a> address to the nation on Wednesday night “was WAR WAR WAR.”<\/p>\n

“I wanted so much for President Trump to put America First. That\u2019s what I believed he would do. All I heard from his speech tonight was WAR WAR WAR,” Greene wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Nothing to lower the cost of living for Americans. Nothing to reduce our near $40 trillion in debt. Nothing to save Social Security, which goes bankrupt in just a few years. Nothing to lower the cost of insurance. Nothing to address jobs for Americans. Nothing about education for our children. Nothing about our children\u2019s future. Nothing for America\u2019s future,” she continued.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m so beyond done. I pray for our military and their families. I pray for innocent people all over the world. I pray for peace and prosperity for all,” she concluded.<\/p>\n

Fox News Digital reached out to the White House<\/a> for comment on Thursday morning but did not immediately receive a response.<\/p>\n

President Trump delivered the speech on Wednesday night, more than four weeks after launching U.S. military action against Iran<\/a> alongside Israel.<\/p>\n

“Because of the actions we have taken, we are on the cusp of ending Iran’s sinister threat to America and the world. And I’ll tell you, the world is watching. And when we do \u2026 the United States will be safer, stronger, more prosperous and greater than it has ever been before,” Trump said during his remarks.\u00a0<\/p>\n

TRUMP SAYS IRAN REQUESTED CEASEFIRE<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

“Thanks to the progress we’ve made, I can say tonight that we are on track to complete all of America’s military objectives shortly, very shortly. We are going to hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks. We are going to bring them back to the stone ages where they belong. In the meantime, discussions are ongoing,” he said.<\/p>\n

Americans have been facing surging fuel prices amid the war \u2013 the AAA national average<\/a> for regular gas has soared to $4.081 as of April 2.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The president said that when the conflict ends, the Strait of Hormuz “will open up naturally” and “gas prices will rapidly come back down.”<\/p>\n
