The stock rallied a respectable 22%, and closed today\u2019s trading session at a share price of $0.94. Volume of the stock spiked to a total of 446,518 shares, bypassing its average of 57,195 shares.<\/p>\n<p>Today, July 18, 2012, Guided Therapeutics announced that it has received notification <a href=\"http:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/guided-therapeutics-notified-ce-mark-120500959.html\">that CE Mark approval<\/a> has been granted for its LuViva<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Advanced Cervical Scan, a non-invasive device used to detect cervical disease that leads to cancer.<\/p>\n<p>Despite today\u2019s rally, the stock has posted a loss of 38.2% year-to-date. The stock tanked significantly in January and has been trading near its low share price range since that time.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/pennystock24\/status\/225669272351956992\">@pennystock24<\/a> on Twitter, Penny Stock Wizards, among others, promoted Guided Therapeutics\u00a0today.
