Boston, MA 11\/01\/2013 (wallstreetpr) –\u00a0<\/b>Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) has reported a decline in its Q3 earnings that fell to $1.27 billion translating to 31 cents a share. The company revenue grew by 12% to clock a high of $36billion as compared to the same quarter a year ago. Ford motor expects its total year profit and operating margins to be higher as compared to the last financial year (F2012). After the release of the results the company stock rose by 2.11% to trade at $17.89. The company saw an increase in its liquidity by $400 million to clock at $37.5 billion<\/p>\n
The company recorded a third quarter pre-tax profit of $2.6 billion which was an increment of $426 million as compared to the same quarter a year ago. The net income fell to $1.27 billion due to high pretax special item charges of 4498 million. The special items charges included $250 million for separation of related actions and $145 million for voluntary lump sum payment of the retirees program. Ford motor company automotive related cash flow for the third quarter stood at $1.6 billion. Marking a consecutive 14 year of good results in this segment Ford remains committed to serve its customers all over the world with a wide range of ford family vehicles.<\/p>\n
\u00a0The company contributed $1.1 billion to its global funded pension plan that included $700 million of discretionary payments to its funded US Plans. The company has settled $3.4 billion since the program begun in 2012. Dividends paid in the third quarter stood at $400 million. The company growth in revenue is a clear indication of higher volume sales complimented by high net pricing gains in all the regions of operation.
