In a household where sports, outdoor play and pickleball are daily rituals, Jessie James Decker<\/u><\/a> says fitness comes naturally.<\/p>\n

After family vacation photos went viral, the mom of four found herself explaining that reality to critics.<\/p>\n

Decker, who is partnering with AbbVie\u2019s Love in Mind initiative to raise awareness about the toll of migraines, explained to Fox News Digital that her children\u2019s fit appearance isn\u2019t the result of strict regimens or pressure, but rather an active lifestyle, packed schedules and genetics.<\/p>\n

“For us, a lot of my friends\u2019 kids look like that. They\u2019re all just active<\/u><\/a>. A lot of them are children of NFL players, too, and we\u2019ve got a unique situation in Nashville where a lot of them ended up at the same school. But my kids are just busy. They\u2019re active,” she said.<\/p>\n

After posting those vacation photos \u2014 which included snaps of her kids showing off their abs \u2014 the comments section quickly lit up.<\/p>\n

Decker, who shares Denver, Vivianne, Eric “Bubby” and Forrest with her husband, former NFL wide receiver Eric Decker, received a mix of awe and disbelief from followers.<\/p>\n

One commenter asked, “How do we go about getting abs for the whole family\u2026,” while another wrote, “The abs on the Decker fam is CRAZYYYYY.”<\/p>\n

She also pointed to her fit husband when talking about her kids\u2019 athletic physiques<\/u><\/a>, noting his background as an NFL star.<\/p>\n

“Also, look at their dad \u2014 his genetics<\/u><\/a>. I mean, he\u2019s crazy fit and always will be, and the man loves donuts,” she laughed. “But everyone just works hard.”<\/p>\n

Decker broke down just how active her kids are, noting that structured sports and constant movement are simply part of daily life in their household.<\/p>\n

“You know, Vivi\u2019s a gymnast \u2014 she\u2019s in the gym five days a week. You know how gymnasts look \u2014 they\u2019re just fit and they\u2019re strong. And little Eric is constantly doing sports,” she told Fox News Digital.<\/p>\n

“They\u2019re active. That\u2019s all I can say. They are busy, busy, busy. They don\u2019t sit around on iPads. They\u2019re out there in the wildlife, barefoot and being free.”<\/p>\n

Staying active is something the entire family embraces together, especially when they\u2019re traveling<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019ve done family workouts together, but we stay active together,” she said. “Maybe when we\u2019re on vacation, we\u2019re doing bike rides together, or whether it\u2019s like a football game outside or throwing the ball on the beach.”<\/p>\n

One sport, in particular, has become a family favorite.<\/p>\n

“We love pickleball. That\u2019s probably the thing that we all do every day,” Decker said. “We have a pickleball court in the backyard, and if we go on vacation, my husband\u2019s like, \u2018Is there a pickleball court at this place?\u2019”<\/p>\n

Beyond fitness and family life, Decker also opened up about a more personal and often misunderstood health battle \u2014 severe migraines<\/u><\/a> \u2014 which she has dealt with since childhood.<\/p>\n

“I partnered with AbbVie on the Love in Mind initiative because it just feels very near and dear to my heart,” she said. “This is something I\u2019ve struggled with since I was a little girl. This wasn\u2019t just a little headache. This was something that felt so much more serious in my everyday life.”<\/p>\n

She shared how migraines have disrupted her career and family life behind the scenes.<\/p>\n

“Knowing the migraine\u2019s coming, knowing I\u2019ve got 2,000 people in the audience waiting for me, knowing I don\u2019t want to let them down \u2014 that\u2019s the hard part,” Decker said. “There have been so many times where I felt like I couldn\u2019t go do something, but I still felt like I did it anyway. I just kind of struggled quietly, and we shouldn\u2019t have to.”<\/p>\n

Through the Love in Mind initiative, Decker hopes to spark honest conversations about the emotional and physical toll of migraines and remind others they\u2019re not alone.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s OK to miss things,” she said. “Don\u2019t be so hard on yourself. This is a real thing, and it needs to be taken seriously.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
