(NYSE:VZ)<\/b> will be the exclusive seller of the BlackBerry Z30 enhanced smartphone. The deal will remain exclusive until the cornered Ontario, Waterloo-based tech company finds other interested carriers to sell the device. The beleaguered company has apparently been looking for a suitable seller for its high-end tech device for several months now. Z30 is seen as Blackberry\u2019s latest attempt at finding its lost foothold in the smartphone industry that it once widely controlled. The company\u2019s 2012 smartphone release Z10 didn\u2019t quite impress the market and now Z30 comes as its upgrade, featuring finer and exciting capabilities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The sale of the device is expected to start November in a two-year contract. Verizon will sell a device for $200 and on the Verizon Edge plan customers will be able to get the devices on a $22.91 per month running 24 months. Verizon is the largest telecoms carrier in the U.S. offering wireless and wireline services on text, voice and data. While it\u2019s now known that Z30 will be available through the U.S. largest carrier from November, no specific date has been issued concerning the same.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Verizon-BlackBerry deal does look exclusive as it seems that among possible targets, only Verizon turned positive for the time being. \u00a0As such, BlackBerry is ready to ship the devices to other carries that express interest. The reason Z30 looks radioactive for now for some carriers is possibly due to the lackluster sell of Z10 a year earlier. To drive up the Z30\u2019s top-line Verizon is expected to embark on spirited promotional and marketing support for the cool smartphone that the market has labeled <i>phablet<\/i>. This Z30 device is cool, bigger and more powerful than its predecessors from Ontario, Waterloo tech giant. It features 5\u201d 720p HD display, wireless charging, 1.7GHZ dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU and 2,880mAh battery which can last 25 hour on heavy usage.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Boston, MA 10\/30\/2013 (wallstreetpr) &#8211; Verizon Communications Inc.
