A 70-year-old woman visiting Universal Orlando<\/a> died in November after riding the Revenge of the Mummy roller coaster, according to a state report released Thursday.<\/p>\n

The woman, who was not identified in the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services <\/a>(FDACS) report, became unresponsive while riding the indoor attraction on Nov. 25, 2025, and later died at a hospital. The report did not list a cause of death.<\/p>\n

Revenge of the Mummy is an indoor roller coaster that can reach speeds of up to 45 mph. The ride is based off “The Mummy” and “The Mummy Returns” films.<\/p>\n

Since the attraction opened in 2004, there have been 21 reported incidents on the ride that range from nausea and dizziness to a seizure and a vertebrae fracture, KTLA reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fox News Digital reached out to Universal Orlando for comment but did not immediately hear back.<\/p>\n

The FDACS report lists incidents that occur at amusement parks<\/a> that employ their own full-time safety inspectors and must self-report incidents as they are exempt from state inspections. The incidents are broken down on a per quarter basis.<\/p>\n

During the same October to December 2025 period, the report said six health-related incidents were reported at Walt Disney World<\/a>. No incidents were recorded at other popular parks in Florida, including Sea World, Busch Gardens and Legoland.<\/p>\n

Another death happened at Universal Orlando just months earlier when 32-year-old Kevin Rodriguez Zavala<\/a>\u00a0after becoming unresponsive on the Stardust Racers roller coaster at the amusement park\u2019s Epic Universe on Sept. 17.<\/p>\n

Zavala had suffered multiple blunt force injuries on the dual-launch ride and later died at a hospital, according to authorities.<\/p>\n

Attorneys representing Zavala’s family argue that Universal missed “multiple” warning signs before his death, claiming the incident was not “isolated,” and several other victims have reported similar injuries after participating in the same ride.<\/p>\n
