That&#8217;s a lot to deal with for our crew.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/food-drink\/mcdonalds-bets-giant-burgers-secret-menus-nostalgia-us-rollout-still-uncertain\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>MCDONALD&#8217;S BETS ON GIANT BURGERS, SECRET MENUS AND NOSTALGIA, WITH U.S. ROLLOUT STILL UNCERTAIN<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Technology solutions will alleviate the stress,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p>Among McDonald&#8217;s most notable changes are AI-driven &#8220;accuracy scales&#8221; designed to prevent incorrect orders.<\/p>\n<p>The chain plans to weigh each bag of food before handing it over to customers, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mashed.com\/2060221\/2026-mcdonalds-drive-thru-changes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">according to Mashed<\/a> \u2014 and if the weight does not align with the expected total for the items ordered, employees will be alerted to double-check the contents.<\/p>\n<p>The burger chain is also planning to grow its &#8220;Ready on Arrival&#8221; program, which uses mobile app geofencing \u2014 where a person&#8217;s phone alerts <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/food-drink\/food\/restaurants\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the restaurant<\/a> that he or she is in the vicinity \u2014 so kitchen staff can begin prepping orders in advance, the outlet also reported.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The U.S., Japan and the U.K. are said to be target markets for the rollout.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/lifestyle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>CLICK HERE FOR MORE LIFESTYLE STORIES<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>McDonald&#8217;s is also reportedly reviving efforts to employ AI-powered voice ordering, working with Google Cloud on chatbots that will allow customers to place orders, according to a past statement. The effort aims to reduce wait times and lighten employee workloads amid industry-wide staffing shortages.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Fast-food chains have faced ongoing staffing shortages in recent years.
