The new method will safeguard the security of the private or proprietary information before its gets transmitted for processing by the cloud computing services.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">IBM has received the U.S. Patent #8,539,597: Securing sensitive data for cloud computing\u00a0for the newly found invention. This patented innovation will embed security features to the much apprehended cloud computing services as the clients can secure their confidential information in the cloud. This will also enable businesses to meet mandated regulatory requirements for handling the client sensitive data.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">IBM Director of Security Research said that the newly patented invention can radically solve the real-world security issues which has hindered the growth of cloud computing. He also added that the IBM&#8217;s investment in research and development is delivering innovations which will help it to progress on its cloud computing and security leadership.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lately, the security issues with cloud computing has discouraged the clients to foray into it which has made protecting data as a precondition for cloud service providers to foster its growth. IBM&#8217;s new achievement will help to instill stronger security in cloud processing as it will beforehand replace or remove sensitive data from records that are being sent for processing, which will be restored again once the records are returned from the cloud<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">IBM could be counted one among the world\u2019s largest investor in research and development for security features. \u00a0The company solely manages and oversees around 15 billion security events each day for its over 4000 clients.
