The Miami Dolphins<\/a> made a quarterback change on Wednesday, and Tyreek Hill did not appear to be happy about it.<\/p>\n

Quinn Ewers has been named the starter amid Tua <\/a>Tagovailoa’s<\/a> struggles, including a 28-15 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday.<\/p>\n

Part of the Dolphins’ struggles definitely have to do with Hill’s injury \u2014 the star wide receiver tore his ACL in Week 4 against the New York Jets.<\/p>\n

However, despite being sidelined, he seemed to have made his opinions on the matter known by posting an infamous meme.<\/p>\n

Shortly after the news of Tagovailoa’s benching, Hill posted a GIF of a man giving a peace sign and disappearing.<\/p>\n

Hill has appeared to have issues with the Dolphins in the past, who acquired him in a trade from the Kansas City Chiefs. After the final game of the 2024 season, Hill said that he was “out.”<\/p>\n

“It was great playing here, but at the end of the day, I gotta do what\u2019s best for my career because I\u2019m too much of a competitor to be just out there,” Hill said at the time<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Apparently, the sides worked out the matter, as Hill was not moved \u2014 but it’s pretty clear that Hill does not want the seventh-round rookie throwing to him any time soon.<\/p>\n

Tagovailoa’s benching is stunning, as he is in the first season of a four-year, $212 million contract extension that he signed in July 2024, with $167 million guaranteed.<\/p>\n

But this season, the former Alabama quarterback leads the NFL in interceptions with 15. Tagovailoa has struggled in 14 games, as he has completed 67.7% of his passes for 2,660 yards with 20 touchdowns and 15 interceptions.<\/p>\n

The Dolphins could have chosen Zach Wilson<\/u><\/a> to take over instead of Ewers, but instead turned to the rookie. In limited action, Ewers has completed five of eight passes for 53 yards.\u00a0<\/p>\n
