This is a massive investment and it validates the company\u2019s quest to expand its business and earn more money for its investors. This investment revelation was made at the Annual Intel Capital Global Summit in San Diego.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Intel Capital is INTC\u2019s global investment arm which identifies opportunities and provides funds to companies working in the domain of mobile technologies, consumer services, data center and cloud. The company now hopes to up the performance of its innovative investments through its unique programs such as Capital Global Summit. And with these tech firms on its wings, INTC is aiming for an elevated horizon in terms of revenue and profit margins.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Among the 16 tech firms, two of them are based in India; Savaari Car Rentals and Perpetuuiti Technosoft. Savaari Car rental is a web-based car rental firm that is using technology to organize the car rental market of India in attempts to unlock more opportunities in the industry, besides increasing profitability for the players.\u00a0 Perpetuuiti Technosoft is tech disaster recovery and continuity platform. It offers real time visibility and infrastructure in this line of business. INTC through its global investment unit Intel Capital first identified in invested in India back in 1998. So far, the U.S.-based tech giant has covered more than 10 cities in India, investing in over 90 tech companies in the country at the combined value of $330 million. And from 1991, Intel Capital has funded 1,322 companies from 54 global countries at the investment value of $11 billion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">INTC designs and manufactures integrated technology platforms which consist of chipset and microprocessor. INTC sells its products to original design manufacturers (ODMs) and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
