Meghan Trainor<\/a> is sounding the alarm on a wave of body-shaming she says has reached a new level of viciousness \u2014 and she\u2019s done pretending it doesn\u2019t hurt.<\/p>\n

After shedding 60 pounds, the chart-topper says her social media feeds have become a battleground of insults targeting everything from her weight to her nose, pushing the singer to tears despite her best attempts to stay unfazed.<\/p>\n

“All my comments were just evil, attacking me,” Trainor told “Extra.”<\/a><\/p>\n

MEGHAN TRAINOR BLASTS BODY-SHAMERS WHO \u2018ATTACK\u2019 HER AFTER 60-POUND WEIGHT LOSS<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

“I started posting pictures of myself recently, just like I always did, but for some reason, a flame went off and everyone got mad,” she explained. “Just like, \u2018Ew, don\u2019t recognize you. You\u2019re just a walking nose.\u2019 Crazy stuff. Like, mean.”<\/p>\n

Trainor admitted she tried brushing off the attacks \u2014 until she couldn\u2019t anymore.<\/p>\n

“I was like, \u2018This doesn\u2019t affect me.\u2019 Yes, it did. I cried so much,” she said. “They got to me. And my therapist<\/a> was like, \u2018You give them a lot of power,\u2019 and I was like, \u2018Yeah, I wish I didn\u2019t.\u2019 So I\u2019m trying to learn at 31 how to not give strangers power.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to Trainor, the harsh judgments have spilled over into real life.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She recalled a recent encounter with a stranger who commented on her appearance before even greeting her.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Didn\u2019t say hi. Wasn\u2019t like, \u2018Nice to meet you.\u2019 Was just like, \u2018Yo, I saw a video of you earlier and you, like, shed all this weight<\/a>,\u2019” she said. “I was like, \u2018Hello? Nice to meet you?\u2019”<\/p>\n

Now, Trainor is channeling the negativity into her art.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The singer revealed she used the hurtful comments as fuel for her new single, “Still Don\u2019t Care,” the lead track from her upcoming album, “Toy With Me.”<\/p>\n

“I wanted to write a big song about it. I was just like, \u2018Leave me alone. I don\u2019t care.\u2019 \u2026 When I play it for the team or my family members, they just sob,” she said.<\/p>\n

Fox News Digital has reached out to Trainor for comment.<\/p>\n

Trainor has long championed self-confidence and body acceptance<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Despite the backlash, Trainor said she\u2019s the healthiest she\u2019s ever been.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m literally, for the first time ever after having babies, taking care of my health to the highest level, and I\u2019ve never felt better \u2014 and I look incredible,” Trainor previously said on Entertainment Tonight.<\/a><\/p>\n

Trainor emphasized she\u2019s focused on her well-being.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m taking care of myself,” she reiterated. “I have to find a way to not be affected by that.”\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
