Anthony Hopkins<\/a> is getting straight to the point.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Hopkins, 87, was a guest on Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert”<\/a> podcast, explaining that he’s never allowed himself to be a victim in his life.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“I never felt like a victim, and I\u2019ve got that attitude today. Get on with it. Stop complaining,” Hopkins said.<\/p>\n

The Oscar winner is currently on a press tour promoting his upcoming memoir, “We Did OK, Kid.” On the podcast, Hopkins told Shepard that he has long preferred to isolate himself most of his life and that he doesn’t get lonely.<\/p>\n

“No, I didn\u2019t feel alone, I just felt uniquely myself. I didn\u2019t need anyone. I never wanted to be part of anything,” Hopkins said.<\/p>\n

Shepard touched on Hopkins’ Asperger’s diagnosis in 2014.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“My wife is convinced I have Asperger\u2019s. I don\u2019t know what I believe, because to me labels now\u2026ADD\u2026H\u2026” the actor replied.<\/p>\n

“I was only wondering\u2026,” Shepard began, before Hopkins added, “It\u2019s just being human.”<\/p>\n

“I was just wondering because, yes, you heard that and\u00a0went back and, \u2018Oh, that\u2019s why I didn\u2019t mind being alone,\u2019” Shepard said to the Academy Award-winning<\/a> actor.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“I’m comforted by the fact that you weren\u2019t feeling lonely and isolated, you were fine,” Shepard<\/a> said.<\/p>\n
