Comedian Michael Rapaport ripped New York City Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani<\/a> for eating at an expensive sushi restaurant, claiming his “working class” persona is fake.<\/p>\n

“How\u2019s a so-called \u2018working class\u2019 mayoral candidate like Zohran Mamdani eating at OMEN SUSHI tonight \u2014 one of the priciest joints in NYC,” Rapaport asked in a Tuesday X post.<\/p>\n

“This clown lives in a rent-stabilized apartment in Queens<\/a> but dines like a diplomat on a Qatar-funded per diem. Who\u2019s paying for that toro, \u2018Zoron the Moron,” Rapaport added. “You ain\u2019t working class \u2014 you\u2019re fraud class. #ZohranMamdani #ZoronTheMoron.”<\/p>\n

Mamdani, the 34-year-old state assembly member from Queens who was born in Uganda, has called for freezing rent prices for millions, free public transit, government-owned grocery stores, and free universal childcare<\/a> for children from ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age.<\/p>\n

Another X post from “Stop Antisemitism<\/a>” which Rapaport reposted, read, “Fun fact: 12 pieces of sushi are $50 at Omen… Mamdani is a typical \u2018money for me, not for thee\u2019 parasitic socialist.”<\/p>\n

MAMDANI\u2019S SOCIALIST, CITY-RUN GROCERY PLAN FACES BACKLASH FROM HOCHUL: ‘I FAVOR FREE ENTERPRISE’<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

On Wednesday, Rapaport replied to a post by an X user who appeared to take issue with Rapaport\u2019s criticism of Mamdani and shared what appeared to be part of a menu selection from Omen Sushi and wrote, “This offends you \u2014 but a mayoral candidate of NYC<\/a> declaring there\u2019s a genocide going on with 0.0 evidence, refusing to condemn \u2018Globalize the Intifada,\u2019 and stacking up dozens of false promises doesn\u2019t offend you?!”<\/p>\n

At various points during his campaign, Mamdani has dodged questions about the phrase, “Globalize the intifada<\/a>,” which is widely seen as a call for violence against Jewish people.<\/p>\n

Fox News Digital reached out to Mamdani\u2019s campaign for comment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
