A woman was arrested in Massachusetts for allegedly threatening to kill federal agents who were making an immigration arrest<\/a> outside a court in the Boston area.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bethany Abigail Terrill, 37, was charged with threatening a United States official in relation to the September incident at Malden District Court in Medford, the U.S. Attorney’s Office<\/a> for the District of Massachusetts announced Thursday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“It is alleged that Terrill physically interjected herself into the middle of agents while they were effecting an arrest. Terrill was allegedly verbally abusive,\u00a0attempted\u00a0to physically interfere with the arrest and\u00a0ultimately made\u00a0threatening statements to kill the federal officers on scene,” the Attorney\u2019s Office said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Terrill allegedly yelled, \u2018Charlie Kirk died, and we love it\u2026\u00a0We\u2019re\u00a0coming for you,\u00a0gonna\u00a0kill you.\u2019 The incident was captured on agents\u2019 body worn cameras and allegedly on Terrill\u2019s mobile telephone,” the Attorney\u2019s Office added.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Terrill was set to make her first federal court appearance<\/a> in Boston on Thursday. If convicted, she faces a sentence of up to 10 years in prison, three years of supervised release and a $250,000 fine, prosecutors said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In a charging document, an FBI special agent investigating the case wrote, “On September 29, 2025, Special Agents from Homeland Security Investigations (“HSI”), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (“ICE”), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”), collectively \u2018the Agents,\u2019” were “working collaboratively as part of a multi-agency effort to support ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (“ERO”) in effecting the arrest of Person 1 in the vicinity of the Malden District Court.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

The agent described how Terrill\u00a0was allegedly “belligerent and became increasingly aggressive throughout the entirety of the interaction.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Terrill\u00a0proceeded\u00a0to yell profanity at the Agents, addressing them as \u2018Nazis\u2019 and \u2018disgusting\u2019 several times. While agents were leading Person 1 to the car,\u00a0Terrill\u00a0yelled, \u2018Charlie Kirk died, and we love it\u2026 we\u2019re coming for you,\u00a0gonna\u00a0kill you.\u2019 One FBI Agent, who was initially walking in the opposite direction of\u00a0Terrill, heard the threat, turned around, and approached\u00a0Terrill\u00a0to detain her, to ensure that she did not have a weapon or other means to\u00a0immediately\u00a0carry out the threat,” the document said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“As the FBI Agent\u00a0attempted\u00a0to detain her,\u00a0Terrill\u00a0was actively resistant and fought to escape, requiring three\u00a0additional\u00a0Agents to\u00a0assist\u00a0in placing\u00a0Terrill\u00a0in restraints. At one point,\u00a0Terrill, who was wearing long acrylic fingernails, hooked her finger on one cuff to prevent the Agents from latching the second cuff onto her wrist. The Agents repeatedly told\u00a0Terrill\u00a0to undo her finger, and\u00a0Terrill\u00a0remained\u00a0resistant and non-compliant and continued screaming,” it continued.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Once the Agents were able to handcuff\u00a0Terrill, they stood her up,\u00a0attempted\u00a0to calm her down, and informed her that they were seizing her phone, which they believed had evidence of her threat.\u00a0Terrill\u00a0repeatedly denied she made any threatening statements and told the Agents to play the video from her phone so that it would not be detained,” the charging document also said. “The Agents replayed the video for\u00a0Terrill\u00a0and confirmed that it clearly captured\u00a0Terrill\u00a0threatening to kill the Agents.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Attorney\u2019s Office also said that while allegedly disrupting the arrest, Terrill “began screaming, \u2018ICE is here, ICE is here,\u2019 \u2018You guys are monsters, this is insane,\u2019 \u2018Sir, what\u2019s your name, what\u2019s your name,\u2019 \u2018I can try to help you,\u2019 and \u2018I am an American civilian, I have a right to be here\u2019 as she continuously pushed into agents all while filming them.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
