(NYSE:A), a leading manufacturer of premium bio-analytical, diagnostics and electronic measurement equipment, launched a metrology option for its network analyzers in the PNA range on Oct 17, 2013. The option aims to provide definitively precise results when it comes to S-parameter measurements, that the metrology organizations and calibration labs across the globe have been looking for.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Accurate dimensions and steadiness of a network analyzer are two major features that metrology labs seek. A major number of scientific equipment manufacturers are unsuccessful when it comes to typifying the thermal stability of their equipment. Lack of data on the steadiness of the equipment renders the users in the metrology labs clueless about its impact on the resulting dimensions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, Agilent Technologies have found a firm solution to the problem of data insufficiency. The technology which the new option is based on, presents data relating to the thermal stability of the network analyzers for 48 hours. This data precisely typifies the changes in the instrument and saves it on the analyzer\u2019s computer. This data can be utilized for the gauging the uncertainty.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The metrology labs have definite measurement needs that the new PNA option successfully addresses. Performance augmentation of the PNA network analyzers and curtailing the advent of uncertainty are achieved through through hi-tech hardware and in-house semiconductor processes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gregg Peters of Agilent\u2019s Component Test Division was excited on the launch of new option. According to him, playing down the uncertainty factor is an important attribute from point of view of the users at the metrology lab across the globe. The new option\u2019s unparalleled performance helps achieve the same and brings in accuracy to the results.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Agilent\u2019s latest metrology option is now available at a starting price of $84,130 across the nation.
